Hey, let’s chat! My name is Amber Knight. I’m the girl hyping you up behind the camera! Things to know about me…I am a wife + momma. I have two daughters, Elliott and Maeve. #girlmama But seriously, I am living out my dream of being a girl mom and to say I am obsessed with them would be an understatement!
Photography is not my only “job”. I am also a nurse at IUHB Hospital on the Postpartum Unit and I love it so much! If you can’t tell, working with families is something I enjoy very much! When I am not taking pictures or at the hospital, you can find me at home hanging with my family (we are the definition of homebodies). Or if I am at home not spending time with the fam and not editing, I probably have a book or my kindle in my hands because that is my favorite form of self care! And if you see me out and about I’m probably carrying my big ole Stanley cup in one hand and a coffee in the other heading to shop at target!
I am obsessed with hats (if you couldn’t tell!) and all things earthy! If you want to borrow a hat for your session I will always say “YES”! You’ll probably see me acting coo-coo for a smile during a session and I’ll tell you “oh I just do this to make you laugh” but really it is just me being me! I love to have fun while we collect memories and hopefully we can become friends!
Photography has sparked a passion I always knew was there before I became a nurse. My family is what really pushed me to pursue this dream of mine. This business was something that I jumped right into with both feet and it has grown quicker than I ever thought possible and for that I am so grateful. So here I am, coffee in hand. I may be on the struggle bus most days (#momlife), but what an adventure it is!
